Rockledge Farm Woodworks

Native Hardwood Bowls, Utensils and Tableware

Our family has a heritage of woodworking at Rockledge Farm. Four generations ago, we operated a business from the farm producing among other things, wood furniture. Today, Rockledge Farm Woodworks is a small family-operated business located on our 200-year-old hill farm near our family’s original 1700’s settlement in Reading, Vermont.

We use converted barns for workshops and the gallery, and still have some livestock on the farm!  We craft a wonderful selection of furniture, woodenwares, and gifts in the finest hardwoods and burls native to this area.

As woodworkers our first priority is the quality and beauty of the wood we use. Whether it’s salad bowls turned from solid blocks of uniquely grained Cherry, our carriers with intricately figured Birdseye Maple, our food-serving utensils carved in Cherry Heartwood, or our one-of-a-kind furniture, we use woods which we know have been harvested in a responsible, sustainable manner.

Our functional designs are carefully fashioned using time-proven methods producing items that will be enjoyed and used for generations.
