Jane Ploughman has been making books and prints for more than a decade. She learned the various crafts of bookbinding, book arts, paper and printmaking by attending workshops and through much self-directed study. Jane teaches classes as a way for her to share with others what she feels fortunate to be able to do as well as a way for her to continue learning and exploring the art and craft of handmade books and printmaking.

 

Jane sells handcrafted journals that feature prints, handmade or recycled papers for the uniquely designed covers. The text pages are purchased from a family-owned company that sources pulp from sustainable forests, uses recycled fiber and harnesses wind power for their mills’ electrical energy.
